About technology at Courtenay
Courtenay Elementary is dedicated in preparing kids for college and beyond. Although it seems like any 2 year old can operate a smart phone these days, there are still skills and concepts that need to be taught and nurtured so that they will be prepared for what lays ahead.
To meet the needs of the students, Courtenay currently has two classroom PC labs, a 1:1 iPad program for grades 3-8, and iPads for small group instruction in the K-2 classrooms. The school has also launched a 1:1 Chromebook initiative with one of the middle school grades. |
